So it has been precisely a month since my last entry and I wish I could express the absolute craziness that has been the last month.  From starting school to going through the fourth week tests to designing a ridiculous amount of yearbook pages.  Really I'm surprised I've gotten to this point but God has brought me through and I know it will continue to be so.  Well since, I would have no idea how to describe the past few weeks I'm going to post on upcoming events...

Later this morning I will be leaving to go to Topeka, KS with the yearbook.  Excited does not begin to describe how I feel about this trip and I know I will come back a refreshed person.

Next weekend my mom is coming to visit and I can't wait.  She'll get to see my apartment and we'll go shopping... and it above average food.  Wow... I could name more but I won't.

Then immediately after she leaves is the first official yearbook deadline... that will probably consume my life next week but at least I got my tests over last week and this week.

Well, until next time... I do still read xangas at the chance opportunity that I am in front of a computer for a leisurely purpose.  God Bless!

I'm back at school and alrady working hard.  I still haven't grasped that I start classes tomorrow but I guess they must.  I'm already loving my room and being able to keep a larger amount of food than a mini fridge will hold.  Oh well, I'm still a slacker on updating this journal, oh well.

I'm leaving in the morning and it really doesn't feel like it is time for me to go.  I've been home so long and although I miss my friends at school a lot, I'm beginning to realize that Vero really is home.  I know school will be amazing this fall and I'm not scared but not quite as prepared as I expected.  Oh well, until I get the chance to update on life... I love you all!

So Katie you're right... I'm back in the country.  The trip was amazing but I'm still processing how I feel about it.  It was so easy to see God at the church in Enmore but it almost makes it harder to see God here.  Maybe that is crazy talk and I really haven't thought that out but I've been in a weird mood lately.  I'm excited to go back to school... so excited but getting kind of nervous.  I'm not sure why really.

Oh, and the children in the children's home down there are amazing.  If I could take them home I would... but of course I can't.

I finished Harry Potter last night.... WOW... thats all I have to say.

Last Saturday we went to a part of the rain forest to get to a waterfall.  It was so cool b/c it rained in the rainforest while we were there and we climbed in the falls... It was amazing...

So this entry is quite spastic... but oh well, I hope everyone is doing well, to all of you I haven't seen since April I can't wait to see you!!!

So things are going great here in Guyana.  We are working with the Enmore church of Christ and it is so amazing to things that are happening in their church.  The singing is amazing and the children from the attached children's home break my heart.  I know God loves them and the work being done to take care of them is great but sometimes you just want to take them home with you.  I have also had positive experiences with door knocking which I was hesitant about.  This afternoon Crystal and I have a bible study set up and I'm hoping it goes well.  Please keep praying!!!
